Before your child's first class
What ages can join?
Every class that starts before 7 PM welcomes ages 5 and up; classes at 7 PM and later are for ages 12 and up. Each class on our kids schedule is labeled with its age range and level, and each listing says whether grown-ups are welcome to fly alongside their child.
Can I join the class with my child?
Grown-ups are welcome to fly alongside their child in every class except the Tuesday afternoon sessions with Miss Morgan, which are kids only. It's a wonderful way to share the experience — many families make it their regular mommy-and-me (or daddy-and-me, or grandparent-and-me) time in the air.
Can I watch the class, or drop my child off?
Parents and guardians are welcome to watch the class from the studio, or drop their child off and return for pickup. Plenty of parents stay and watch; plenty of others drop off and come back at the end — whichever suits your family. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in; for safety, late arrivals may not be able to join once warm-up has started.
Is there a waiver?
Yes. A parent or legal guardian signs our liability waiver for every student under 18 before their first class — it takes about two minutes online.
Sign the waiverWhat should my child wear?
Full-length leggings and a fitted long-sleeve top that covers armpits and elbows, bare feet, and hair tied back. No shorts, crop tops, jewelry, zippers or buckles, and no lotion or oil within 24 hours of class.
When should I register?
Please register at least four hours before class begins. Early registration also helps prevent classes from being canceled because of low enrollment. In FitDegree, buy the intro pack or membership first, then choose a class.
Can I take photos or video?
Photos and video are not permitted during group classes to protect every student’s privacy.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel classes in the FitDegree app at least 12 hours before start time to get your credit back; late cancels and no-shows are charged $20. Workshops, events and class series need 48 hours' notice, and memberships cancel in the app 7 days before renewal.
